NOAH

Noah was the 10th patriarch in the Earthly lineage of the coming Messiah, and he was born during mankind’s 1,056th year.  In other words, the second 1,000 year period of mankind’s history on Earth was now in progress, and it was now time for God to proceed with fulfilling the prophecy He had made in Day 2 of Creation — which you remember had foretold the global flood!

The “global flood event” was to be one massive, detailed, prophetic picture of Jesus Christ’s 2nd Coming, but again ALL A SECRET!  It would contain the “rapture scene” and the “destruction of the surface of planet Earth scene”, along with much more.  And it would also contain a “timing detail” God would precisely control to verify Christ’s 2nd Coming will absolutely, positively occur during mankind’s 6,000th year, giving more credence to the fact that His 7 Day Creation story truly was/is His master time plan for mankind’s time on planet Earth in this present age.

So here we go … Noah’s name in ancient Hebrew meant “rest, comfort”!  Listen to God prophesying through Noah’s father, Lamech, about Noah:

“And he (Lamech) called his name Noah, saying, this same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord hath cursed” (Genesis 5:29).

Friend, THIS is prophecy about the Messiah!  It is Jesus Christ and his 2nd Coming that will usher in the RESTFUL, millennial reign on Earth where God will regenerate planet Earth back to its original, peaceful condition before Adam & Eve sinned and the ground was cursed.  In other words, here (through the very name God had Lamech name his son) God was secretly confirming Noah will be a prophetic picture of Jesus Christ!

 

THE ARK

Well, you know the story … the world was full of wicked people, so God decided to destroy them ALL, along with the surface of planet Earth (listen to every prophetic word God speaks to Noah and then think about the soon coming fulfillment of them through the Antichrist’s brief reign on Earth):

“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the Earth, and that EVERY imagination of the thoughts of his heart (spirit) was only evil continually … And God said unto Noah, The END of ALL flesh is come before me; for the Earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I WILL DESTROY THEM WITH THE EARTH” (Genesis 6:13).

God tells Noah to build an ark to save his house (family) from the coming destruction.  Here is what the ark prophetically represents: It is the KINGDOM OF GOD!  A.R.K = A Righteous Kingdom.

God tells Noah to build it with 3 levels, windows, rooms, and 1 door!  Friend, THESE are ALL Biblical characteristics of God’s Heavenly Kingdom that Jesus Christ is currently BUILDING for HIS HOUSE of righteous souls:

“I knew a man in Christ…such an one caught up to the THIRD heaven” (II Corinthians 12:2).

“… and the windows of heaven were opened” (Genesis 7:11).

“In my Father’s house (Kingdom of God) are many mansions (rooms): if it were not so, I would have told you.  I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME AGAIN, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:2-3).

“I (Jesus Christ) am the door: by me if any man enter in, HE SHALL BE SAVED” (John 10:9).

Do you see it?  God found the perfect way to represent His Kingdom (or the place all the resurrected righteous will enter) in this secret prophetic story concerning Christ’s 2nd Coming by having Noah build an ark to SAVE his HOUSE!

GOD SHUTS THE DOOR

Noah completed the building of the ark (Jesus will soon complete the building of rooms in his Kingdom) and God tells Noah’s HOUSE (family) to enter it:

“And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and ALL thy HOUSE into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation” (Genesis 7:1).

Listen to God describe (later in the Bible) who all the spirit children (living on Earth during its first 6,000 years) that willingly choose to live righteously represent:

“But Christ as a son over HIS OWN HOUSE: WHOSE HOUSE WE ARE, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end” (Hebrews 3:6).

Do you see it?  Anyone who willingly chooses to “repent of their sins” literally becomes a spiritual son or daughter of Jesus Christ, meaning they are part of HIS HOUSE (or his family) of people, just like Noah’s house in the prophetic story!

So just Noah’s house of 8 — him, his wife, his 3 sons, and their wives or his daughters in law — enter the ark, and GOD SHUTS THE DOOR!  Listen:

“…and the LORD shut him (them) in” (Genesis 7:16).

Isn’t that a weird choice of words for this story back then, to be displayed for all to read in God’s Holy Bible for thousands of years?  Well, not at all once you understand what the story is all about!!!  It is GOD who will SHUT THE DOOR to the ark (Kingdom of God) in the End, and NO ONE after that point will enter!  Listen to Jesus tell a parable authenticating this truth:

“When once the MASTER of the HOUSE is risen up, and hath SHUT THE DOOR, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us: and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence (went to church), and thou hast taught in our streets.  But he shall say, I tell you, I KNOW YOU NOT whence ye are; DEPART FROM ME, ALL YE WORKERS OF INIQUITY (SIN).  There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the Kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out” (Luke 13:25-28).

I cannot say it any clearer, my friend … the only reason a person will not be in the ark (Kingdom of God) is because while they had a chance on Earth to repent of sin, THEY WOULD NOT!  Church attendance won’t matter!  Millions who go to church every week still live in willful wicked sins, and God does not know them.  So don’t fool yourselves, only “true repentance (willful cessation of sin)” will prompt God to “forgive your sins” through Christ’s redemptive work at the cross of Calvary, allowing you entrance into His glorious, heavenly Kingdom.

In other words, the door that enters the ark exists IN YOUR HEART! It is in your spirit! To enter the ark and become a spiritual son or daughter of Jesus Christ’s house all you have to DO is turn from your sins.

 

THE ARK GOES UP

With Noah’s house safe inside the ark, the day of reckoning arrived.  God broke open the deep and destructively flooded the entire surface of planet Earth, physically killing (or cutting short the time) all His wicked spirit children’s souls had to play in the Game of Life on planet Earth:

“… the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up … and the waters increased, and BARE UP the ark, and it was LIFT UP ABOVE THE EARTH … and ALL flesh died that moved upon the Earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the Earth, AND EVERY MAN: All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died … and NOAH ONLY REMAINED ALIVE, AND THEY THAT WERE WITH HIM IN THE ARK” (Genesis 7:7-23).

Do you see it?  Do you see the secret prophetic picture of Jesus Christ’s 2nd Coming?  Do you see the rapture (lifting up off the Earth) of the believers (house of Christ) on the SAME DAY that the Earth and all its godless inhabitants are simultaneously being destroyed?  I sure hope so!  Because this prophetic story of Noah is less than 20 years away from being fulfilled on this planet!!!

THE PROPHETIC TIMING DETAIL

And now for the prophetic “timing detail” God controlled in the story to absolutely prove Jesus Christ’s 2nd Coming will occur during mankind’s 6,000th year:

“And Noah was SIX HUNDRED years old when the flood of waters was upon the Earth” (Genesis 7:6).

Oh, friend, do you see it?  Noah’s ark was ready to receive his house and be lifted up off Earth when he was 600 years old, because Jesus Christ’s Kingdom will be ready to receive his house of resurrected righteous souls and be lifted up off Earth when it is precisely 6,000 years old!!!  Noah’s whole story was/is a prophecy!  And Jesus Christ is about to fulfill EVERY prophetic detail of it.

This is why Jesus said:

“But as the DAYS (all 600 years) of Noah were, SO SHALL ALSO THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN (JESUS CHRIST) BE.  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them ALL away; SO SHALL ALSO THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE” (Matthew 24:37-39).

Do you see?  Even Jesus Christ himself authenticated the story of Noah was actually one massive, prophetic picture of his 2nd Coming!  And now (as Paul Harvey would say) you know the REST — pun intended! — of the story.
